On Tuesday, February 14th Morah Reva Judas led a Disability Sensitivity training for the seventh graders. The students raised their understanding of different disabilities by participating in a group activity where each student “experienced” different kinds of disabilities such as ADD, Autism Spectrum, visual impediments, communication disorders intellectual disabilities and hearing impairments. The students learned about the importance of inclusion of everyone, regardless of their ability. Informational packets will be provided.

Students and their families look forward to experiencing Shabbat services together regularly. Seasonal highlights include special projects and programs.
Temple Emanu-El recognizes that different children learn differently. We are proud to provide a full-time learning specialist as a resource to these students, families, and faculty.
