F2F/ATID (8th – 12th Grades)
The Bar/Bat Mitzvah – we tell your children – is not the end of their religious education but a milestone. F2F/ATID is the bridge to staying connected to religious school friends and remaining involved with the Temple after 7th Grade.
Students in 8th grade and up join us once a week to schmooze, to learn, to celebrate, to volunteer, to build friendships, and to explore, among others. They will have fun, make friends, and learn about Jewish living in an informal, engaging way.
When events are hosted at the Temple, we’ll meet weekly on Wednesday nights from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. After catching up over dinner, we will either take part in a mitzvah project, fun activity, session led by Rabbi Kirshner about Israel, the Holocaust or Jewish Ethics or be volunteering our time at the Jewish Home Assisted Living in River Vale.
In the past, 8th graders joined ATID/Club 8. This year we are merging ATID/Club 8 and F2F/USY to maximize participation.
